Last Thursday, all of the staff gathered to wish Mathias the best on his next venture. Today he leaves for Utah for a vacation prior to the mission president seminar in late June. He and his wife have been called to preside over the Nigeria Calabar mission this July.
Note the white powder (baby powder) on Mathias' head. It is a tradition in Africa that you get powder thrown on you at farewell parties.
