Doing Hair is an Art Form in Ghana
Two members of the local ward have shops at the Aburi Woodcarver Market. Between their carving time and their selling time, they do each other's hair. This particular project takes several hours and will last two months.
Where do you stop to eat in Aburi?
You stop at the Hillburi Resort, of course and either order the Mediterranean Pizza or the Obama Burger. Either choices are great!
Discovering the Woodcarvers Market in Aburi
About an hour north of Accra on Liberation Street is the village of Aburi. It is known for its botanical gardens, but it also has a great market featuring woodcarvers. Senior couples seem to prefer the work of Abel (0) 246 20 4042 the best.

Know of a Good Stop on Way Back from the Temple?
Every woman wants to take a look at Esther's Fabric store.
Meet Esther.
Her fabric is preferred over most other stops and is reasonably priced.
However the truth is out. A stop for pizza and gelato at Pinocchios make you think you are not far from Italy. This is a favorite stop for ex-patriotes.
However the best pizza of all is found at Mamma Mia's. I do not believe you even find it that authentic in Provo, Utah.
What to order? The "Peter Pan" of course. And ask for chili oil.
