The MTC Missionaries Left for the Field This Morning

First Day in Sierra Leone
We are so excited to have Sierra Leone and Liberia opening up again and hope to have missionaries in both of those countries very soon.  This is a photo of missionaries arriving in Sierra Leone when we had missionaries there. It features Elders Guymon, Pearmain, and Cottrell. While they were called to the Sierra Leone mission, this photo was taken on their first day in Liberia, where they spent their missions until the August 2014 evacuation. They were all transferred to missions in Ghana at that point. Elder Cottrell went to the Accra mission while Elders Guymon and Pearmain finished up in the Cape Coast mission. 

Can you imagine the excitement when the missionaries come back?

But this scene is taking place over and over through Africa today as missionaries arrive from the Ghana MTC.

    I love this photo! Elders shown are Guymon, Pearmain, and Cottrell.
