Meet the Bodines

Can you believe Elder and Sister Bodine are playing African drums after 5 days in Ghana?

Originally from Chicago, the Bodines come to us directly from Lindon, Utah, where they've lived for the past 20 years. They have loved raising their 4 children is such a wonderful environment. They have three daughters, one son and three grandchildren. Their daughters have all married wonderful son-in-laws and their son is currently serving a mission in Cuernavaca, Mexico.

The Bodines have always loved to travel and have found different service opportunities around the world that have allowed them to see new places, learn about new cultures a help others. They've been preparing for the last few years to be able to serve together as a couple and once their last child left for his mission, they started working on their papers.

Elder Bodine has been involved in the technology and payments industries for most of his career and recently resigned from Visa so that he could pursue his life-long goal of serving a mission with his wife.

Sister Bodine is also affectionately referred to as the "energizer bunny" for her non-stop energy and always positive attitude. She's run over 10+ marathons and looks forward to getting up every day and exercising with her companion.

The Bodines are grateful for the tender mercies that brought them to Ghana and look forward to serving the wonderful people of Western Africa.

We are so grateful to our daughter-in-law Karenin for telling us the Bodines were interested in serving in Africa.  The rest is history.
